Many people enjoy visiting zoos. Others believe that animals should not be taken from their
natural surroundings and put into zoos.
A lot of people, especially children, are fond of going to the zoo. There they have an opportunity to
look at wild animals, exotic birds, insects, reptiles and fish. When we come to the zoo, we can see
animals that we would never have a chance to see in our country. But is it right to keep animals in the
zoo?
Personally, I think that animals should live in their natural habitats. Animals that live in zoos are
confined within enclosures and displayed to the public. It is difficult to create ideal captive
environments for some species and sometimes animals have to live in bad conditions and look
miserable and untidy. They may suffer from lack of space, comfort and good food. Some wild animals
feel stressed in captivity. Sometimes they are kept in such small cages that they are unable to turn
around. Besides, in spite of prohibition many visitors give animals food that may do harm to their
health and cause different diseases.
However, some zoos keep fewer animals in larger, outdoor enclosures, rather than in cages. For
instance, safari parks allow visitors to drive through them and come in close contact with the animals.
What is more, most modern zoos display wild animals primarily for the conservation of endangered
species, as well as for research purposes and education, and secondarily for the entertainment of
visitors. But I still believe that animals feel much better without people's control.
To sum up, I think that the conservation and educational role of zoos should be strengthened. All zoos
must be inspected and licensed, and all animals must be provided with a suitable environment.

Students of all educational institutions normally take examinations or tests to show they have gained enough knowledge to move to the next level. They are a significant part of the curriculum. I don’t think students like the exams, as they make them anxious and stressed. However, I’m sure that everybody should take part in testing system. It motivates us to study better. If we don’t have exams, then there is no need to study.Студенты всех учебных заведениях обычно сдают экзамены или тесты, чтобы показать, что они получили достаточно знаний, чтобы перейти на следующий уровень. Это является важной частью учебной программы. Я не думаю, что студентам нравятся экзамены, так как они волнительны и полны стрессов. Тем не менее, я уверен, что каждый должен принимать участие в системы тестирований. Это побуждает нас к лучшей учебе. Если нет экзаменов, то и нет никакой необходимости учиться.
I know that some people are self-motivated. They are ready to study because they simply like it. However, it’s rather seldom. Most students prefer cheating, instead of studying. They do it mainly to get a certificate but not knowledge.Я знаю, что некоторые люди целеустремленные. Они готовы учиться, потому что им просто это нравится. Однако, это встречается довольно редко. Большинство студентов предпочитают списывать вместо того, чтобы учить. Они делают это, главным образом, чтобы получить сертификат, но не знания.
Nowadays, there are two types of exams: state and international. State exams are held in every public secondary school. At the end of the 9th and 11th forms all students have to take these exams in several obligatory and optional subjects. Russian language and Mathematics are considered to be obligatory. At the same time, every student can choose two or three optional subjects. If I were to choose, I’d prefer English and History.В настоящее время существует два типа экзаменов: государственные и международные. Государственные экзамены проводятся в каждой государственной средней общеобразовательной школе. В конце 9-х и 11-х классов все студенты сдают эти экзамены по нескольким обязательным и выборочным предметам. Русский язык и математика считаются обязательными. В то же время, каждый студент может выбрать два или три предмета на выбор. Если бы мне пришлось выбирать, я бы предпочел английский язык и историю.
International exams are rather popular these days. Almost any teen or adult can take part in these exams. They are internationally recognized exams, which test your knowledge in different areas. I would like to pass such exam in English and get a certificate with good grades. Other professional areas of international exams include business, law, medicine, accounting, etc.Международные экзамены довольно популярны в наши дни. Почти любой подросток или взрослый человек может принять участие в этих экзаменах. Это международно-признанные экзамены, которые проверяют твои знания в различных областях. Я хотел бы сдать такой экзамен по английскому языку и получить сертификат с хорошими оценками. Другие профессиональные области международных экзаменов включают бизнес, право, медицину, бухгалтерский учет и т. д.
In conclusion, I’d like to mention one more advantage of exams. They discipline people and teach them to work and study regularly.В заключение я хотел бы отметить еще одно преимущество экзаменов. Они дисциплинируют людей и учат их работать и учиться регулярно.
