I am writing to you to complain about some fashion boots I bought from your Westborough branch last Wednesday. When I put them on for the first time at the weekend, it was raining, and after a few minutes, the boots let the water in. The next day, I took the boots to your shop and asked the assistant who sold them to me to replace the boots. But she said the boots could not be replaced because they had already been worn. But how could I have seen the defect without wearing them? Besides, I can't believe that boots are made to be worn in dry weather only! And I haven't been warned that the boots aren't waterproof. I'll be grateful to you if you send me a replacement pair that will not let water in.
