I am a russian, or at least I think so. But i often wonder, if this red-coated document actually makes me a part of a nation. I share the rights and responcibilities of the people, I share the culture, but am I actually one of them?

This might be just the set of questions, many people ask themselves these days. I remember feeling amazed, how idiotic propaganda may be. Turn on the TV, hear a phrase or two and you might feel that you don't want to be part of it.

The real task is to find Russia within oneself. It is what others will never do for you. Read some classic literature, visit an opera. The best thing to do is to take a walk around your home city with either a good guide or a good guidebook. Seing historic places creates just this feeling of being part, which is necessary to awake the patriotism.
