Biography

Two identical twins (born outside Birmingham, March 23rd, 1974) jumped on the boy band wagon of the mid-90s, produced by legendary British producer Ian Levine who had already been responsible for Take That, Bad Boys Inc. and Upside Down. Gemini was signed to EMI and received strong support by the label with the release of their first single Even Though You Broke My Heart, September 1995, doing a staggering 81 date PA tour, appearing on every TV show possible. The single was a modest hit, peaking at No. 40 in the UK chart. Not losing hope, EMI released Steal Your Love Away a few months later which did slightly better, peaking at No. 37. While Levine had produced approx. 30 tracks with the group, EMI chose to do a one-off with another production team, Phil Harding and Ian Curnow for their third single Could It Be Forever. Seeing that it stalled at No. 38, EMI dropped the UK release of the 17 track album The Difference Is ...-it was fully completed and released only in Thailand. Soon after, Gemini drifted into oblivion.
