Пожалуйста помогите с сочинением по английскому языку на тему: "Как я провел новый год"

Here come the New year! I'm with friends very much looking forward to this holiday and we to him diligently prepared. Dad brought a big tree and we with the guys her dressing. On top put an angel, branches decorated with garlands and balloons, hanged a lot of tinsel. Under the Christmas tree we put the Grandfather of the Frost and the snow maiden, but the room was decorated with all kinds of snowflakes, garlands and streamers. It turned out very nicely. Adults praised us for our diligence, and promised that Santa Claus is necessary for us to bring gifts. We are eagerly waiting for this moment, and every five minutes to look under the tree. But the gift is not there... We were very sorry and mom, that would distract us, called to drink tea with the cake. Then we played different games and participated in the competitions. It was very fun and we have forgotten that there would come a Grandfather frost. And when it came time to disperse, some of the guys looked under the tree and found a mountain of gifts . Everyone got what wanted. All were very happy. So that's my New Year's!

Unfortunately this year I ended up spending New Year's Eve hauled up in the warehouse where I work, unpacking products to be shelved and sorting out where to put them.

How sad it is, that work should continue to dictate the way we live. Without money we are helpless.
I spent last New Year's Eve in an undoubtedly better fashion. My wife and I invited round not only our nearest and dearest, but some of the neighbours too. Jean from number 56 even bought her cream labrador round. The kids loved it!

And so the evening began, just like many other's around England, a table laden with cheap booze and nibbles, serviettes and paper plates, fizzy drinks for the kids and the best quality Bucks Fizz for the mother-in-law. Out on the cold lawn in the back garden lay my pitiful display of discount fireworks, ready to be let off at 12 on the dot.
We had music on the CD player, provided by my fashion conscious daughters and the Beeb's Hogmanay coverage on standby.
New Year's is a funny little celebration, soo much more important abroad. It marks the end of the year, a chance to look back on one's achievements with pride, whilst at the same time a warning bell sounds and you look out in dread at the calendar and realise how little time you have to start those new year's resolutions and miserably fail them. The humiliation!
I have always wanted to pop over to Scotland and see how they really celebrate it there. I could do with a bite of Haggis and some jolly bag pipes playing in my ear.
Alas, I don't see it on the cards, not until such time as the boss lets me have another bank holiday off work.

New Year is considered the most popular holiday in our family. At the beginning of December everybody has a festive mood. In the city the streets and shop windows are decorated with bright and motley garlands. A huge Christmas tree is put at the main square. We begin to prepare for the holiday. We buy Christmas-tree decorations, tinsel and gifts for each other at New Year’s fairs. At the end of December we put artificial Christmas tree and decorate it for the holiday. I help my mother to prepare a festive table on December 31. New Year’s Eve always seems to me magical and unforgettable. At midnight after president’s appearance on television chiming clock begins to strike. We wish each other a happy New Year and make a wish and then exchange gifts. When I was a child I found the gifts under the Christmas tree and I thought that Santa Claus had brought them. Although I’m already adult and I don’t believe that Santa Claus exists, on New Year’s Eve I want to find myself in the dream and to believe in a miracle.
В нашей семье самым любимым праздником считается Новый год. В начале декабря у всех появляется праздничное настроение. В городе украшают улицы и витрины магазинов яркими, разноцветными гирляндами. А на главной площади устанавливают огромную ёлку. Мы начинаем готовиться к празднику. На новогодних ярмарках покупаем друг другу подарки, ёлочные игрушки и мишуру. В конце декабря дома устанавливаем искусственную ёлку и наряжаем её к празднику. 31 декабря я помогаю маме приготовить праздничный стол. Новогодняя ночь кажется мне всегда волшебной и незабываемой. В полночь, после выступления президента по телевизору, начинают бить куранты. Мы поздравляем друг друга с новым годом и загадываем желание, а потом обмениваемся подарками. Когда я была маленькая, то подарки находила под ёлкой и думала, что их мне принёс Дед Мороз. И хоть я уже взрослая, и не верю, что существует Дед Мороз, но в новогоднюю ночь хочется оказаться в сказке и поверить в чудо.
