Competitive viands were estimated by competent jury — representatives ВГТА and professional lycée №53 which prepares experts in the field of cookery. Participants should not only is tasty to prepare national dishes, but also cheerfully to present them, having shared in process by the recipe. «It is far not competition of professionals, — has told Nadezhda Shabunina, the deputy director of institute of international formation ВГУ. — the Purpose of the given action — to organise interesting leisure of foreign students, having arranged an original holiday of the people».

The festival menu this year has turned out very bright and tasty: Iraqis have prepared бирьяни (плов from a hen, raisin, a potato and spices) and a dessert from vermicelli. Representatives of Uzbek cultural centre "Ватан" have brought on festival самсу, вареники from the shaken up eggs and 5 more exotic dishes. Vietnameses have prepared «Beautiful Vietnam»: a dish on the basis of rice and тхак — colour jelly. Representatives of the Georgian community have baked a carp with a stuffing from nuts — левенги. Turkmen конкурсанты have prepared бешбармак and ишлекли and salad «Alem гошар» — in the form of multi-coloured strips from vegetables. Students from India have prepared an exotic piquant sauce from a tomato, because: «Sauce чили, prepared on the basis of tomatoes, provides an organism with vitamin C three times more than citrus, — student ВГМА of a name N.N.Burdenko Ankita Singh has explained. — Chile strengthens an organism in the winter, and also improves liver work».
