1. Tom was walking down the street. Tom saw Jack. He said hello.
А всё вместе будет так - Tom was walking down the street when he saw Jack. He said: “Hello,
Jack.”
2. They were sitting in the garden. It started to rain/ It started raining. They went into the house.
А всё вместе будет так - They were sitting in the garden when it started raining. So
they went into the house.
3. Mary was painting the room. She fell off the ladder. She broke her arm.
А всё вместе будет так – One day Mary was painting the room but all of a sudden she fell off the
ladder and broke her arm.
