I find there are two types of people out there: those who love books and those who say that reading is not their thing. I am definitely among those who can't live without a good book or two.

I have always loved reading. I can say that books are my favourite pasttime and the best form of entertainment. What can be better than exploring new worlds created by writers?

If there is a new film based on a book, I would read the story first and only then watch the movie. I don't want this book to be ruined for me by somebody else's point of view.

I wouldn't call myself a bookworm. However, books play a very important part in my life. This is why I find it sad that nowadays people turn to their gadgets and social media whenever they get a chance. It's not often that you can see someone reading a book in public transport.

Reading is a powerful tool. It teaches you new words and correct spelling. Books help you to develop imagination and creativity. Avid readers often think outside the box! If you don't have anyone to ask for a piece of advise, you can ask yourself what characters in your favourite book would do.

I would like more and more people to discover the joy of reading. My dream is to arrange a book club. We would decide on a list of books to read in the next year and then meet to discuss the book of the month. I would like this very much.
