There are so many wonderful cities in this world. Some of them impress by their modern skyscrapers, others charm by their unique architecture and ancient sights. Nevertheless, there is no such city as Moscow. Thousands of people come here and stay fallen in love with its beauty. So why does it attract all these people so much?
First of all, Moscow is a modern and really diverse city. It naturally combines small cozy streets with 19th–century houses and brand new huge business centers. It’s so interesting to watch the city developing and renewing, maintaining and keeping its history at the same time. Furthermore, this city impresses by its speed of life. Thousands of cars go by roads and millions of people hurry to their work and study. Moscow fills you with its energy and makes you move.
Secondly, this city is famous for its sights. The heart of Moscow is the Kremlin and Red Square. You can feast your eye on the clock on Spasskaya Tower and St. Basil’s Cathedral. It is the oldest and the most visited part of the city. There are some popular viewing points such as Ostankinskaya Tower — the highest building in Europe and Sparrow Hills. Visiting these places you can enjoy the beauty of Moscow panorama. The main street of Moscow is Tverskaya, but the favorite street for the vast majority is Arbat. A lot of street musicians perform there and it’s full of other interesting entertainments.
Thirdly, Moscow has quite a diverse cultural life. Here you can find the events to satisfy any taste. There are plenty of theatres, museums and exhibitions in this city. The Bolshoi Theatre, the Tretyakov gallery and Pushkin Museum are famous world–wide and worth visiting.
As for me, Moscow is a city of contrasts where big and small, new and old, rich and valuable can easily coexist. It’s a city of dreams and success. It is meant to inspire and motivate people.
