8. the, нет ( characteristics - здесь во множ. числе, так что "а" быть не может)
9. the, the (ясно, что речь идет не вообще о деньгах, а о тех, что оставлены для чего-то специально на столе)
10. the. the. a (строительство стадиона закончилось год назад. Нельзя же сказать в этом предложении "строительство какого-то стадиона! Ясно, что обсуждается конкретный стадион, т. е. определенный. the)
