This summer i (traveled) a lot and (did) all sort of things. In June I (went ) hiking. It (was) a real adventure
I (learned ) now to pitch a tent and make a fire. I also (learned ) how to play the guitar and sang many good songs. I (took ) a lot of pictures of me and my friends.
We (went ) canoeing and some of us (spent) a lot of time fishing. We were lucky with the weather, so we (sunbathed ) and (swam ) a lot.
Of course, there (were) some mishaps. One of our friends (twisted ) his ankle, another (fell) and (cut) his knee, but all's well that ends well. We never (gave in) and (came) back safe and sound. My parents hardly (recognized) me, I (looked ) so strong, and I was proud of myself.
In July my parents and I (went) abroad. We (visited) Holland. People there (speak) Dutch, but they also (understand) English. The trip wasn't very expensive, and we (stayed ) at gueshouse and (traveled) basically by bus. We (went to) some sightseeings,and were greatly imressed by its breathtaking beauty. In August I (had to) go to my grandmother's. She's (living ) in a small village not far from our town. She has got a big garden, she (needed) me to help her with the harvest. My granny (kept ) me busy all the time. Together we (picked ) fruit and vegetables and (made) jam and pickles. She also (taught ) me to pick berries and gather mushrooms.
