помогите написать сочинение на английский. правильно ли написание?

It was winter TIME. Mark woke up in the morning and went to work. In his SPARE time, he WAS WORKING in a kiosk near his home. He WAS SELLING hot dogs.
SUDDENLY Mark NOTICED a small white puppy AT the stall. IT SEEMED LIKE It WAS SITTING there all night and LOOKED very cold. Mark gave it a small sausage and let STAY IN A WARM PLACE. After eating THE hot dog, puppy WAS SLEEPING for a few hours. "What a cute dog!" - thought Mark.
When the WORK WAS over, Mark went home. THE white puppy WAS FOLLOWING HIM. Mark did not know what to do with the dog.
COMING home MARK FOUND HIMSELF AT THE DOOR WITH THE PUPPY LOOKING at Mark with ITS sad eyes. Mark opened the door and let the puppy IN.
It was a FEMALE DOG. Mark called her Mary. He felt very happy because HE finally found a true friend.

He saw a small white puppy at/behind the stall. It HAD sat/had been sitting there all night and WAS/seemed very cold. Mark gave it a small sausage and let it in . After eating a hot dog, THE puppy slept for a few hours. "What a cute dog!" - thought Mark.
When the working day WAS over, Mark went home. THE white puppy ran after him. Mark did not know what to do with the dog.
When they came home, the puppy stood by the door and looked at Mark with sad eyes. Mark opened the door and let the puppy IN.
He felt very happy because HE (HAD) finally found a true friend.

It seemed like it has been sitting there...
...the puppy got to sleep for a few hours.
