Стыдно не знать классику)))Именно эта песня и прославила эту групппу, других хитов у них нет.А отель "Калифорния" - это маленькая гостиница среднего класса, где они останавливались на гастролях и напивались!)

Народ, ну, блин, ну, поколение Next!...Ни слова там про гостиницу - это хиппари так называли свою главную тусовку - ШТАТ Калифорния, куда они все в 68-69 гг автостопом собирались покурить и потрахаться. Об этом и песня, а поет ее чувак, типа, под кайфом. Никто никогда на русский ее переводить и не пытался. У них свой приход, у нас - свой.
