Адам Гонтьер (родился 21 мая 1978) — гитарист и вокалист группы Three Days Grace.

Интерес к музыке ему привили родители, которые слушали совершенно разные направления музыки, когда Адам рос. На веб-сайте Three Days Grace Гонтьер писал: «Моя мать — музыкант. Это она приучила меня к пению вживую. Когда мне было 12 лет, она возила меня по барам, где я пел с оркестрами. Именно сцена Сиэтла вдохновила меня на написание собственных песен» .

В 2005 году женился на девушке, которою любил ещё в школе — Наоми.

В 2006 году Адам проходит реабилитацию в CAMH (Центр по проблемам наркомании и психического здоровья) . Именно после лечения были записаны песни «Animal I Have Become», «Over And Over», «Pain» и другие.

Adam married his current wife Naomi in 2005, following the success of his band's album. The two have been dating since they were in high school.
In 2005, Adam went to rehab for an addiction to OxyContin, at the Toronto rehab center CAMH (Center for Addiction and Mental Health), which is where many of the songs for One-X were written, including "Animal I Have Become" and "Pain". He is still sober, and there will be a docu-drama about it released in 2007
