3.Park your vehicles away from the trees and dry areas of the forest. Any fluid or fuel leakage from the cars can help start a fire.
4. Completely extinguish your camp fire if you have been camping in the forest. Pour water in the burning twigs for added safety. Also avoid using candles and matches inside your tent. Keep combustible liquids and alcohol inside tightly sealed containers.
5.Refrain from using fireworks in or near a forest. Fires can spread very quickly if sparks from fire crackers reach dry leaves in the forest.
6.Use caution when cooking on an open flame or grill in your backyard. Unattended fires can contribute to nearby forest fires.
