Hello Sally!
I think that saving the environment is really important, especially now because our planet keeps getting hotter and hotter, most of the animals are losing their homes and we, humans, are doing so little to solve this problem. Let me explain this while telling you about my city.
So, in my city (Название города) we have a slight problem with litter. In each park that I went there were rubbish cans, but no one really cared about them. People would throw the rubbish whether there was a rubbish can close by or not. They just don't care! People do not care about their surroundings and that is the real problem.
Anyway, unlike them, I try to keep my rubbish with me untill I discover a trash can. I also try toavoid using plastic bags, because they aren't very good for the environment. Additionally, I sometimes may carry some cat food or dog food just in case. The main reason is that I feel very sorry for all of the cats and dogs that got thrown away, because they don't get enough food and they all look so unhealthy.
Looking at your last question I had to realize that..it is actually too late. The process of global warming had already started. Have you noticed the sudden increase in the amount of hurricanes and storms we keep getting all around the world? It's crazy! Our planet is sick and our goverments look like they aren't noticing anything! I think that we should enjoy these last days of good weather, because I am not sure of what awaits us in the future.
In any case, do you think that goverments aren't noticing this big problem on purpose or do they have a plan? Do you think that small groups like your can actually help the planet? And lastly, what would you do if you woke up and heard on the news that..scientists can't do anything about the planet and we will all die in the near future? Ugh..I know it sounds scary, but I wanna hear your thoughts.
