2. I'm having trouble with the car. I'm sure John will help you fix it if you ask him.
3. How long have you known James?
4. You will be a good teacher one day.
5. You've made a mess. (Ты устроил беспорядок, насорил, всё спутал и т.п.)
You are making a mess. (Ты сейчас устраиваешь беспорядок, соришь, всё спутываешь и т.п.)

В пятом пункте без контекста нет "правильной формы". Я указал два возможных варианта. А можно и другие.
