Nowadays there are a lot of books in the world. Each year hundred thousands of books are published. But some think that the reading has no future.
I think that while people get 90 percent of the information using eyes, reading will be one of the main skills of the human being. Either fiction literature or instruction for your new cellphone you will deal with the text and reading ability might just come in handy. Nonetheless there are some people who think that in the future they will not read at all like they will be able to magicly download all the information straight in their brain. Of course we can not underestimate science progress but even if such downloading will be possible it will be in the far away future. But still you will have to be able to read the instruction for such device...
Another words reading is one of the essential abilities of the man. And while all of us are homos sapiens we will read.
