A Country I Would Like To Visit
The place I would love to visit is Italy. Italy is a beautiful place with many ancient cities.

The piano comes from Italy, and as I play piano, I would love to see the old magnificent pianos the cathedrals would have.

If I journeyed there, one of the first things I would do is have some original Italian ice cream.

After that I would ride over to see Pompeii and actually visit the ancient ruins of that city and see Mt. Vesuvius for myself.

I would then take a trip over to Pisa and see that famous tower.

One of the cities I would most enjoy journeying to is Rome. Rome is an ancient city that was founded by Romulus.

In Rome is St. Peter's Basilica. This great building is the center of Christianity. The grandeur of the building's interior shows wealth of the Catholic Church in the 16th century. St. Peter's is the largest church in the world and it would be very exciting to actually be inside it.

I also wouldn't miss the chance to visit the Coliseum. To be able to see the remnants of this incredible building would be amazing. The Coliseum was the place where the people of Rome held many events ranging from animal shows to gladiator fights.

I would also try to visit the Appian Way, one of the roads that existed when the ancient Romans still lived and traveled. Rome is the largest city in Italy and would be very fun to visit.

Of all Italy, I want to take a gondola all over Venice. Venice is one of the oldest, most beautiful cities in Italy, other than Rome.

Venice plays host to many celebratory festivals where everyone wears fun and crazy costumes.

One of these events includes the Carnevale, which is before Lent. I would love to visit during one of those celebrations.

Venice has many statues that have stood for years, many of which are lions. St. Mark's Basilica, meaning The Church of God, is also located in Venice. It is home to an enormous golden altar measuring 40 square feet and gilt with thousands and thousands of jewels.

Venice canals are bordered by the town's buildings themselves and the lights of the town brighten up the city and give it a fairytale look.

At night, Venice becomes an enchanted wonderland to all dwelling there. The gondolas are still hand-powered and have the same effect as they did 50 years ago.

Italy is a beautiful country that would make a memorable traveling experience for anyone.
