Dear Tatiana Sergeevna,

I would like to tell you about my favourite cartoon character. It's Belle in The Beauty and the Beast.

Belle means beautiful in French. This name is right for the character because Belle is very beautiful.

Belle lives is a small town. We can say she lives in a village. It's boring there. People don't like reading. They don't understand Belle.

Belle can only talk to her father. Belle's father is called Maurice. He is an artist and a music box maker. Belle's mother died long ago.

There is an ex-soldier in the town. His name is Gaston. Gaston is strong and handsome. Unfortunately, Gaston is not clever and doesn't like reading. He is also boring for Belle.

Gaston is in love with Belle because she's very beautiful. Gaston asks Belle to be his wife. Belle says no to Gaston. She doesn't want to be with a stupid and boring man.

In the end Belle meets Prince Adam. The prince is right for Belle. They are both beautiful and clever. They both like reading. Belle and Prince Adam can talk about interesting things.

Belle has a pretty yellow dress. It's long and is made of silk. Belle looks good in this dress.

So this is my favourite cartoon character. I hope you will like Belle, too.
