Remember all the rules about Reported Speech. Do the following tasks.
5.1 Transform the Direct Speech into the Reported Speech.
1) “Nowadays more and more people are becoming vegetarians”, Steve
said.
2) “John, avoid using high-sugar products”, the dietician recommended.
3) “You won’t get all the nutrients if you follow a strict diet”, my mother
said anxiously.
4) “Can I offer you a cup of tea, please?” I asked the waiter.
5) “I have never tried tacos”, my sister admitted.
6) “Why did you reduce your salt intake?” my friend interested.
7) “I always read food labels to check for hidden additives”, said my
neighbour.
8) “Don’t eat sweets in order to control your weight”, my friend advised me.
9) “ Did you find this recipe for pumpkin pie on the Net?” I asked my
granny.
