ТЕМА . СОГЛАСОВАНИЕ ВРЕМЕН. КОСВЕННАЯ РЕЧЬ.
1. Преобразуйте следующие вопросы (Yes/No questions) из прямой речи в косвенную.
Пример: “Are you hungry?- She asked us if/whether we were hungry.”
“Did you study hard for the exam?” - She wondered if I had studied hard for the exam.
“Will you be coming to the concert?” - He wanted to know if I were coming to the concert.
“Have you seen John this week?” - She asked me if I’d seen John that week.
“Has Ann been working here long?” - He wanted to know if Ann had been working there long.

2.Преобразуйте следующие предложения с прямой речью в предложения с косвенной речью.

1) “If you take my advice you’ll go by train,” Sue told Richard
Sue advised Richard to go by train.
2)How about watching TV?” Arthur asked.
Arthur offered to watch TV.
3) Julian: Why don’t you go to the cinema, Gina?
Julian asked Gina why she didn’t go to the cinema.
4)Doctor: You should take more exercises, Miss Brown.
Doctor told Miss Brown to take more exercises.
5) Grandmother: If I were you Ann, I’d wear a scart
Grandmother told Ann that on her place she would wear a scart.
6) “If you take my advice you’ll buy shares in Sony”, John told Arthur.
John advised Arthur to buy shares in Sony.

3.Преобразуйте в следующих предложениях косвенную речь в прямую.

She said, “I ‘m going to leave tomorrow”.
He said, “It is the record I’ve bought the day before yesterday”.
They said, “The parcel will arrive in two day’s time”.
He asked, “Did anyone have come yesterday?”
We told them, “Your flat will be ready the next month”.
He said, “I’ve called earlier but nobody has answered the door”.
She asked him, “Is it your birthday today?”.
