дурацкое задание! Какую форму здесь считают "нужной"?
1) Dad drank / was drinking / drinks / is drinking / will be drinking tea, and Mom drank / was drinking
/ drinks / is drinking / will be drinking coffee.
2) They are scanning the pages of the dictionary now.
3) Isaac Newton was sitting under a tree one day when an apple fell near him.
4) English took / takes / has taken thousands of worlds from other European languages.
5) 500 years ago most people died before the age of 40.

В № 4 у вас ошибка, должно быть не worlds, а words.
