This fiml is American psychological thriller film, but in my opinion it is a science fiction film, and normaly I dont like this type of film.

This film was released en Jenuary of 2004. The main character is a Evan Treborn, the starring role is played by Ashton Kutcher. His lover - Kayleigh the starring role is played by Amy Smart. Other characters - Kayleigh's brother - Tommy Miller starring by William Lee Scott. The common friends - Lenny Kagan starring by Elden Henson. And last important character - Thumper starring by Ethan Suplee.

The plot revolves centers on Evan who suffered severe traumas as a boy and a teenager, blacks out frequently, often at moments of high stress. He can travels back in time when he see a old photos or read his daybook, and changes the future. In this film show a some alternate options, but every time some of friends is harmed. And Evan must make changes again and again. Evan want stay with Kayleigh, and wants all friends fines. But finaly he must renounce to his love and did know anything about her.

This film is followed by The Butterfly Effect 2, but this part don't have anything in common with first part, because the characters starring by others actors. Changes the director, too. This year have release a new and lastest for the moment part Butterfly Effect: Revelation. Personally I have not see this film yet.

My opinion about first part - the film is interessant and will change the way you think about life. It is a film with a deep message - you can not have all in some time. You need chose some one. Some times it may be difficult.
