Reported speech - Peter told his little brother that he mustn't open that door.

2) Sentence- He asked, "Why do you always come home so late?
Reported speech - He asked me, why I always came home so late.

3)Sentence - She asked, "Was this man a doctor?
Reported speech - She asked if that man had been a doctor.

4) Sentence - Kate said to me, "I've finished your book. It was very interesting.
Reported speech - Kate told me, that she had finished my book. and it had been very interesting.

Peter said to his little brother, "You mustn't open this door." - Peter told his little brother that he HADN'T TO open that door. - PETER PROHIBITED HIS LITTLE BROTHER TO OPEN THAT DOOR.
He asked, "Why do you always come home so late?". - She asked me why I always came home so late.
She asked, "Was this man a doctor?". - She asked if that man had been a doctor.
Kate said to me, "I've finished your book. It was very interesting." - Kate told me that she had finished my book. She added that it had been interesting.
