Cheerful call

There lived-were the father-colonel, mum-candidate of science and their sonny Kesha — the pupil of the sixth class.

And here somehow time has laid down Kesha in the evening to sleep, and hasn't woken up in the morning. Sleeps to itself and sleeps. Week sleeps, year sleeps, two sleeps... And when has passed three years, parents were disturbed and have called on the house of the doctor.

The doctor has come and speaks:

— To lju-bo-pyt Th.

— The doctor, — asks mum-candidate of science, — can, he has died?

— I do not think, — having thought, the doctor has answered. — at you sewed is?

— What for to you sewed? — Mum-candidate of science has pricked up the ears.

— Yes I want it to prick sideways, can, will wake up.

At this moment of Kesha it is sweet it was pulled and has opened eyes.

— Three years has passed? — It at once has taken an interest at parents.

— Has passed, — immensely surprised parents answer.

— Hurt! — tells Kesha. — Means, I already in the ninth class!

— So you specially did not wake up, that to school not to go?! — Even more surprised parents have asked.

— Aha, — Kesha nods. — Now I only needed to study two years.

— The good fellow, Keshka! — the father-colonel has praised the son. — has fine thought up! To me in two years a rank of the general should appropriate. So I, perhaps, too will have a sleep.

With these words the father-colonel took and has fallen asleep.

— And to me in two years of the doctor of sciences promise to give, — mum-candidate of science has told and too took and has fallen asleep.

Has looked at them at Kesha, yes ka-a-k will knock itself a fist on a forehead:

— Well and a burdock I!. On a fig I so have early woken up? To me as early as the whole two years at school to suffer!

And Kesha has continued the dream.

And in two years the father, having woken up, became the general, mum — the doctor of sciences, and Kesha has left secondary school.
