Rabbi Samuel Chiel is to officiate at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, with the bridegroom's father taking part.

The bride, 29, teaches history, Jewish history and comparative religion at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, Md. She graduated magna cum laude from Yale University and received a master's degree in Jewish education from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Her father is a partner in Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo, a Boston law firm. Her mother is a psychologist and spiritual counselor in Newton.

The bridegroom, 31, is the senior legal and policy adviser to the Treasury Department's undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence in Washington. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and received his law degree cum laude there. His mother works in New York, managing the medical practice of Dr. Lisa B. Szubin, her daughter, and Dr. Jay D. Katzman, her son-in-law. The bridegroom's father is a professor emeritus of Jewish law and comparative legal studies at City College in New York.
