Сутки не могу установить пакет в LINUX. Спасите самомнение. Пакет называется QUARTUS 9.1

Extract the Quartus II software for Linux workstations using the following command:
tar xvf 91_quartus_linux.tar
Execute the 'quartus/linux/install' script (extracted relative to the current directory).
Follow the same procedure for each additional software, making sure to target the same base installation directory (e.g. /usr2/altera) each time so that each tool is at the same relative location.
Select the appropriate options in the installation script to install the software.

В чем заключается "не могу установить пакет"? Какой дистрибутив? С этого надо начинать, а не писать как называется пакет

В чём проблема-то? :)
