The British celebrate Hallowe'en on the 31 of October. They believe that on that day the souls of the dead return to the places where they lived. People decorate their house with pumkins, dress as witches, ghosts, devils, cats or bats. In the evening there are a lot of
Hallowe'en parties. It's hard to imagine a party without a scary story told in a low voice at Hallowe'en night.
