правильно ли будет если я скажу: he made a photo of me when i didn't look. И when i last saw he, he was looking for a job? и так же: he was following me and i started to cry?

he was following me and i started to cry? - Он следовал за мной - здесь речь идет не о процессе, а о факте. Если конечно из контекста не ясно, что речь идет о процессе. Поэтому he followed me and i started to cry. Он следовал\последовал за мной.
