Упражнение 1. Откройте скобки, ставя глаголы в настоящее простое (Present Simple) или прошедшее простое время (Past Simple) страдательного залога.
1) Halloween is celebrated every year on the 31st of October.
2) In Britain it is tradition that presents are given to the couple at the wedding reception, but in other countries sometimes presents are not given.
3) Turkey is eaten at Christmas in Britain and at Thanksgiving in the USA.
4) Snacks are often eaten at parties.
5) We aren’t getting a lot of soft drinks for this party because last time they weren't drunk.
6) How was the room decorated when you had your Christmas party?
7) What was done to the men who tried to kill King James in 1605?
8) In Turkey we were invited to a Turkish wedding and we were given very good food at the reception.
