The first four days I spent in England, the sun was shining. "It's not as bad here", - I said to my fellow correspondents. "These four days, - they answered to me, - the British will remember for ten years". "Do you remember the summer in June of 1958: the four days in a row with out rain?"
Two years later I came to England again. In Sheremetyevo there was a snowstorm and the temperature was -12. In London 9 degrees and sunny again. "Not bad for a February" I thought and put the evil eye on it.
Two days later it rained, than it was cold and foggy, than rain again, after - cloudy, windy and cold. Annoyed, I though of the British: " What makes them live on these soaking wet islands, while there are so many dry (warm?) countries on Earth

In the first four days that I spent in England, where the sun was shining. "You is not so bad," I said to his fellow-correspondents. "These four days," they said to me, "the British will be remembered ten years." "Remember the summer of 1958-the first, in June, four days there was no rain?"
Two years later, I again came to England. At Sheremetyevo was the snowstorm and the temperature 12 degrees below zero. In London, 9 degrees and sunny again. "Not bad for February," I thought charms
Two days later came the rain, then it was cold and foggy, then again the rain, then cloudy, windy and cold. And I thought with annoyance about the British: "What makes them live on these islands, wet through, when so many dry countries on Earth ..."

Two years later, I came back to England. In Sheremetyevo was the December Blizzard and the temperature 12 degrees below zero. In London 9 degrees and Sunny again. "Not bad for February", I thought, and jinxed
Two days later it rained, then it was cold and foggy, then rain again, then cloudy, windy and cold. And I angrily thought about the British:"That they are forced to live in these wet Islands, when so many dry countries on Earth..."
