be adjusted - часть составного глагольного сказуемого. Сказуемое may be adjusted
2) work - часть сложного дополнения
(he) saw it work - конструкция, которую принято называть "Complex Object", где saw - сказуемое, а it work - сложное дополнение
3) to be found - часть составного глагольного сказуемого. Сказуемое is to be found
4) the throttle is said to be closed - конструкция, которую принято называть "Complex Subject". На функцию инфинитива в ней разные грамматисты смотрят по-разному. Согласно классической версии to be closed - это часть подлежащего. Подлежащее - the throttle to be closed, is said - cказуемое. В этом случае to be closed - часть сложного подлежащего. Другие утверждают, что is said to be closed - cоставное глагольное сказуемое. В этом случае to be closed - часть составного глагольного сказуемого.
5) to be applied - часть составного глагольного (are to be applied), to allow - обстоятельство цели
