Lizzy with the Creative Market Support Team here.
As part of a tax review, Creative Market must update our tax records to make sure all of our shop owners have provided us with the documents the U. S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires. We need your help to confirm that the tax information for your shop is complete and up to date.
Without your submitted form, we may have to delay processing future payouts (including any scheduled for July 15, 2017) or may increase your tax withholding to 30%.
To confirm your information, please visit the Payment & Tax Setup tab within your shop settings and follow the instructions. Please note that there are two required sections to confirm your information:
1. Completing the appropriate tax form (W8BEN, W8BENE, or other).
2. Completing the Affidavit of Unchanged Status.
Once you have submitted your tax forms, you will be instantly directed to the Affidavit of Unchanged Status. Your payout will be released as scheduled once these sections have been completed.
While confirming your information, you will notice that we’ve begun working with a new vendor, Tipalti. In the coming months, we’ll be deepening our integration with Tipalti in order to offer a more seamless tax reporting experience, as well as more robust payout options. However, the payout process has not been changed yet. This means you must still request a payout by the last day of the month in order to receive a payout on the 15th of the next month.
Please contact us at support+tipalti@creativemarket with any questions. We appreciate your patience and help with this process and will be standing by to help you! You may also read answers to commonly asked questions at our FAQ.
Best,
Lizzy
