This story is about a conflict which has recently occurred in one of British schools. The matter is that following the Governmentʹs recommendations John Lambert, the head teacher at Rawmarsh Comprehensive School in Yorkshire, introduced healthier school meals for the pupils. He also reduced the lunch break from one hour to thirty minutes, and banned children from going out to local takeaways during the break.
But two mothers, Mrs. Crichlow and Mrs.Walker, donʹt approve of these rules. They believe that pupils should be given the freedom of choice, so they started passing fastfood over the school fence.
Mr. Lambert has already met with the women and persuaded them to stop their deliveries for a while. He claims that the new healthy eating regime improves school discipline and learning. However, the problem HASNʹT BEEN RESOLVED yet.
