So, your questions are very interesting. Sometimes I argue with my parents about what to wear, because sometimes they don't understand what's in (fashion) now. To me it's rather important to be fashinable, but I don't rush to shops even if a new collection's appeared, because I think that being really fashionable isn't very expensive. I prefer different kinds of clothes, the main reason for buying this or that piece of clothes is comfort. Clothes should be modern and comfortable. I don't think that you should follow your parents advice, I think you should have a talk to them and discuss your preferences. Don't forget tastes differ and sometimes it's better to discuss and come to some conclusion. Just talk to them and you'll definitely find a desicion.
And what about you? What kind of clothes do you like to wear? Why?

Yes, sometimes my parents and I don't agree about clothes I wear and we argue.They don't like my tight jeans but I have such a good figure:)Sometimes I may buy some pink shoes and a handbag just because they look great together:)I often wear bright colours.As regards your question about fashion and my advice .You can make a simple dress look great with the right accessiries.Being stylish is about what suits you and your figure.You should never wear something just because everyone else is wearing it. Wear what you feel comfortable wearing and what looks good on you..Fashion is expression of your own identity.Bye for now.
