EU/EFTA citizens

With the introduction of freedom of movement, EU and Swiss citizens are subject to the same conditions with regard to residency, employment and work both in Switzerland and the EU. Upon presentation of a Swiss contract of employment to the registration office of their local authority, citizens of EU/EFTA countries receive an appropriate residence and/or work permit.

Non-EU/EFTA citizens

From all other countries – so-called third countries – only urgently needed and well-qualified workers are permitted in accordance with the mandate of the Federal Council. Their employment in Switzerland requires a permit. It is generally the employer who submits the permit request to the cantonal authority responsible. Employers are required to provide proof that despite extensive attempts no suitable employee could be recruited in Switzerland.

Registration

New residents have to register with the local authority within eight days. For this purpose, the following documents are required:

Application form
Valid official ID (passport, identity card)
Confirmation of health insurance. The registration deadline for Swiss health insurers is three months, so this certificate can be submitted later.
Passport photo
Documentation on your marital status (e.g. family register, marriage certificate, birth certificate of minor children, etc.)
Certificate of employment from the employer or the contract of employment
Certificate of residency (copy of rental agreement)
Non-EU/EFTA citizens also require a residence/work permit

Таки лучше сначала закончить школу ;-) Какой умный нашелся, а то дураки швейцарцы думают они там всех проверить могут, щас! :-)))

С трудом представляю себе, как можно числиться у кого-то на работе и при этом не работать. Работодателю это совсем не выгодно, ведь помимо зарплаты он должен платить в казну массу всяких отчислений. Кому ж захочется просто так свои деньги тратить?
В стране проживания надо обязательно иметь адрес, банковский счет, страховку, платить налоги в конце концов.
В наше время современных технологий все это элементарно проверяется. Совсем не обязательно иметь штамп в паспорте (или не иметь его) о пересечении границы.
