Подскажите пожалуйста как привести в порядок файл HOSTS.

если поработали вирусы то сам файл hosts скрее всего стал скрытым а lmhosts - это херня

автоматом исправит, если не получается http://support.microsoft.com/kb/KB972034

1) Менеджер файла hosts из avz (либо его восстановление с помощью программы)
2) Microsoft Fixit
3) блокнот (другой текстовый редактор)
4) CureIt
5) еще варианты?

Проверьте свой компьютер антивирусной утилитой CureIt от «Dr.Web» или Virus Removal Tool Лаборатории Касперского.

Прочтите инструкцию внимательно. Помните, что вы выполняете эти действия на свой страх и риск.

Для уничтожения последствий работы вируса, необходимо перейти в папку C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (возможно, что у вас система Windows установлена в папку, отличную от C:\WINDOWS - учитывайте это) и найти там файл с названием hosts.

ВАЖНО: Сохраните копию этого файла на всякий случай!

было бы очень полезно узнать какая ОС у Вас

просто удали папку где лежат хосты и все ...
