знатоки английского, прочитайте пожалуйста текст, есть ли грубые ошибки? (не получилось в первый раз доб. текст)

Question

In the 21st century one of the most important problems is to read. People have become less and less read. 
 
I agree with the first part of the sentence. Maybe in the future e-books will replace paper books familiar to us. 
 Indeed, in the era of technology many people read books in electronic form. for that invented a variety of gadgets, electronic books, plane-tables, audiobook, etc. Maybe in the future e-books will replace paper books familiar to us. Unfortunately, this is already happening. but then people will forget this wonderful feeling when you open a book, turn pages and feel their smell 
 
But I don't agree with second part of the sentence. Reading will always exist .even if the gadgets will replace ordinary books 
After all, as wrote Charles Kingsiey, an English writer of the 18th century: "Except for a living man there is nothing more wonderful than books! 
They teach us and open their hearts to us as brothers"

firstly,books play a very important role in our life. They not only teach us, they stir our imagination, expand the boundaries of the familiar world, and fill our life with great expectations of joy and happiness. 
 
 secondly, They give us a unique chance to link up with authors who lived hundreds of years ago. 
Thanks to books we can talk to people who lived in different ages and countries. 
as well, With their help we can not only look into the past but foresee the future . 
So we can learn a lot of useful, interesting, exciting informations about the world we live in. 
 
thirdly, A books is one of the greatest wonders of world because they form our values and views on life 
 
We want to be like the characters of our favourite books: to be brave, honest, not to be silly and greedy, to be true friends. 
 
 as well as, They teach us to be kind, clever, hardworking, to understand other people and help them. 
 They teach us to understand the beauty of nature, take care of it, to love our homeland. 
 
Finally, I want to say that the book is a whole world. 
And each person has their own special world, a world of fantasies and the hopes. 
man can not live without my little world. 
Therefore, I believe that books is everlasting

1)... problems is to read (стоит заменить как-то) . 
2)have become less and less read - have become - это уже сделанное что-то должно быть, соответсвенно, less and less нельзя употреблять. и become употребляется c существительными, прилагательными. - become tired, become a dad. People have become less reading.(мне кажется, более-менее звучит) 
3)I agree with the first part of the sentence (what sentence, what part?) З. Ы. наверное понял 
4)...familiar to us (непонятно, что хотела сказать) . 
6) for that лучше в конец запихнуть, audiobookS 
7) Повторение 4-го. 
8) already думаю стоит убрать. 
... greatest wonders of THE world....
... i want to say that the book - думаю, стоит перефразировать. может "a book", но не уверен 
... the hopes... зачем "the"? 
Man can not live without (my?) little world - Я думаю, имелось в виду his own, 
...books are everlasting. 
И еще, есть моменты, где я сомневался, но чтоб не выглядеть нубом в случае ошибки, я умолчал :) 
З. Ы. У меня уровень владения английским немного не очень, но я старался :)
