Sealand is
the smallest country in the world, but another countries don`t confess it. It`s
area is 5 hundred 50 square m. Population of Sealand is 53 people, but only
security guard always lives there.

On the map
you can see territory of British islands, and this little point is Sealand.
This is a flag and coat of arms (герб) of Sealand. Motto of the country «E Mare Liberats» - or From the Sea,
Freedom is written on the coat of arms. Anthem has the same name, and you can
hear it now.

Territory
of the country is platform Roughs Tower. It was build in 1942 by britains,
like a lot of another platforms near the Britain`s seaside. There were
antiaircraft guns and 2 hundreds soldiers on these platforms. After war a lot of them was destroyed, but
not Roughs Tower.

In 1966
retired major british army Paddy Roy Bates with his friend Ronan O`Rally
selected this abandoned platform for building of amusement park (парк развлечений) , but then they quarreled.

In 1967 Ronan
attacked Roughs Tower with guns. Bates
defended with rifle, shotgun, Molotov cocktails and flamethrower, and won.

Roy don`t
builded anything, but he wanted to open there his own pirate radio station Britain’s
Better Music Station.

On 2
September 1967 announced creation of
sovereign country and proclaimed himself prince Roy I. This is main holyday of
Saeland.

Sealand is
principality. Ruling dynasty are Bates. There were only 2 princes of Sealand - Paddy
Roy Bates and Michel I Bates. Organizational structure of Sealand is constitutional monarchy. There
are 7 articles in Sealand`s constitution.

Like
another countries, national of Sealand has Sealand passports. Sealand has it`s
own currency – Sealand`s dollar, made from silver, bronze or gold.
