Nell
The story begins when an elderly lady was found dead in a little house far away from civilization. When Dr.Lovell and sheriff came to the house, Dr.Lovell found a young lady, she was very scared and she spoke a strange language. At first, the girl was considered a “wild child” with mental and psychological problems. Dr. Paula Olsen, a psychiatrist, suggested to take the young girl to a specialized hospital, but her suggestion was not welcome by Dr. Lovell, who was convinced that the young girl should stay in the forest, because this was her home. After a court, they decided to study the behavior of the girl, Nell, for 3 consecutive months.
During those 3 months the life story of Nell became clearer… She lived with her mother, who had a unilateral paralysis, in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Actually, Nell lived in that house alone and she could take care of herself. From the beginning she was afraid of men, because she had suffered violence, but Dr. Lovell became her "guardian angel" and he tried to help Nell to integrate into society. On the other hand, Dr. Lovell fell in love with Dr.Paula...
They discovered that a strange language Nell used, was the language of twins, and that her twin sister died 20 years ago. Nell's integration into society was not an easy task, because she was innocent and her innocence was not compatible with the reality of American society. People didn´t understand Nell, because she spoke other language which no one knew and Nell had strange ritualistic behavior. The existence of Nell was discovered by journalists, and was hiding in the hospital where shows depressive behavior, so she returned to her home in the forest. In fact, Nell did not have mental problems and that she was a person unknown to Western Society, the language of this society, and her traditions.
Five years later, Nell was living in the forest and she was visited by her friends: the sheriff and his wife, Dr. Lovell with Dr. Paula and their daughter.
