Now a days people buy themselves modern bikes. Why don't people ride bikes made in the Soviet time? Author of this article have never thought about this until he gets involved in bikes, so he chose this theme for his investigation. Now he is sure that in those times bikes were made more qualitatively than this days and characteristics of modern bike is less than Soviet one.
This article is investigating for two types of bikes which we should watch more detailed to see their advantages and disadvantages and certainly compare which type of bikes is better. Modern bike or Soviet one. Soviet bikes are very strong and hardy. Modern ones are more beautiful and have I would say many unnecessary functions. Bikes in Soviet Union were like a little working horse for people, after all they used it for ride to dacha or to go fishing or just ride in the town or outside the town. Sometimes people was transporting unbelievable cargoes on their bikes such as construction materials for example. You can forget about the same transporting methods using modern bikes because they looks too good and you will probably regret their new bike. You also can easily break these bikes because there are fragile axis wheels. During this investigation we have conducted a survey among Sillamyaeskaya gymnasium's pupils where author have found out that men more love Soviet classic bikes, but women love modern ones. As well we have made an interview with a bike repairing specialist who told us many new and interesting things for the author and this information helped her to investigate this theme. Due to the survey and the interview we can conclude that Soviet bike is no worse than modern one.
