a night in the forest

This weekend my sister and I went to the forest preserves just outside of chicago. It was a beautiful. We started on the trail at 4pm so the sun was low in the sky. The weather was perfect.

We didn't originally plan on going anywhere. In fact I had only three hours of sleep and I was nap out in the backyard. My sister was taking pictures with my camera. She started asking me how do change the settings so my nap was over. As we were taking pictures I mentioned the preserves, so we went.

We hiked a mile along a rough dirt path to a beautiful lake. Along the way we passed flowers and spider webs and a lot of other fun stuff. We passed a few people on bikes too. At the lake people were grilling, fishing, and having picnics. The lake was calm and beautiful. There were birds flying too.

On the way back we too a different trail. The sun was going down and it was getting darker. My sister was telling me to hurry up. Still I cut through an opening in the trees to an open field. Then we say the deer. We ran back to the road and quietly followed until I got a good picture. Once in the car I made my sister pull over near another lake. The moon was over the lake and I was able to get a great picture of it.

My sister and I hope to go back another day and see more. Surprisingly I feel great, not tired at all.

Я и сестра рассказываем о наших делах в школе, о том, чем занимались днем. Папа рассказывает о своей работе и еще о чем-нибудь интересном. Слушать маму — одно удовольствие! Истории и случаи, которые она рассказывает, бывают очень смешными. Пикник заканчивается. Я люблю такие вечера. Они интересные, веселые. Но день на природе уже подходить к концу. Времени до сна остается немного, но я успеваю сделать кое-что из уроков. Так заканчиваются наши семейные вечера.

After school I'm going to quickly and hurry home. Today, Dad would come home early, and our whole family would go on a picnic. This family night is not every day. I return from school. Mom is at home and preparing food, my younger sister helps her. Dad comes home from work, we sit in the car and eat out of the city.
When we arrived my father chopped firewood and lit a bonfire, and my mother a bed blanket and arranged food. For a picnic, we not only eat, but talk. I tell my sister about our activities in the school, about what they do during the day. Pope talks about his work and more about something interesting. Play mother - a pleasure! Stories and incidents, which she says are very funny. Picnic ends. I love these evenings. They are interesting, funny. But the day of nature is now coming to an end. Time to sleep is a little bit, but I managed to make something from the lessons. Thus ends our family evening.
