2. Mary lived in America five years AGO. - MARY HAS BEEN LIVING IN AMERICA FOR 5 YEARS.
3. America is a beautiful country
4. Mary is cooking A blueberry pie and SHE shakes THE MILK WITH A with walnut syrup.
5. She HAS seen a new musical.

1. There are a lot of interesting things in America. - нормально (логика для IS понятна, типа потому что lot единственное число, но лучше ARE)
2. Mary lived in America FOR five years. - если она там уже не живет, если еще живет, то has been living или has lived
3. America is a beautiful country - нормально
4. Mary is cooking blueberry pie and milk shakes with walnut syrup. - уже отвечал в другом вопросе :)
5. She had seen a new musical. - She saw или She has seen

5. She had seen a new musical. Как часть сложно-составного предложения такая конструкция возможна, В том числе и если вторая часть подразумевается, например: She had seen a new musical. Why I'd to buy ticket for her? - Она видела новый мюзикл, почему я должен был покупать для нее билет? Если речь об этом моменте - лучше использовать Present Perfect:
She have seen a new musical - Она смотрела (уже) новый мюзикл (т. е. можете не расписывать его и не приглашать ее) . Если речь идет о том, что она вообще когда-то смотрела - Past Indefinite: She saw a new musical. Подразумевается, что, например, вчера она видела новый мюзикл.

4. Mary is cooking a blueberry pie....(еще неизвестно, какой там пирог у нее получится)) ) )
5. She has seen a new musical.(Леонид, Вы не знаете разницу между have /has?)

She saw a new musical.
