АНГЛИЙСКИЙ ЯЗЫК! Помогите с артиклями в тексте...

Our a ship started from Rostow, where the Don flew into sea. We came to the Azov sea and rather fast passed straight of Kerch. It was the Crimea from the right, now it belongs to Russia again but we didn't came neither to the Theodossia, nor to the Yalta. We crossed the Black sea. The wind was weak, and waves were low. We went to the south-west and aquanted with our a neibarghs, Vesselovs. They went to the Cyprus, while our aim was Egypt, the Sakhara river of the Nile and the Pyramieles. When we passed the Instambul, the city was illuminated, even the Moon was seen badly. In Turkish Republic people elected the president. The ship passed by cliff with lighthouse and came carefully across the Dardanells.

Но тут же очень много ошибок. Сначала надо их исправить, а потом артикли. Иногда не понятно, что автор хотел сказать

Our a ship started (out) from Rostow where the Don flows into sea (почему прошедшее, разве Дон не впадает больше в море?)
We went out to the Azov Sea and quickly passed Kerch.The Crimea was on the right. Now it belongs to Russia again. But we didn't go to Theodossia or to Yalta. We crossed the Black Sea. The wind was weak, and the waves were low. We went to the south-west and got acquainted with our neibours, the Vesselovs (прямо там, на юго-западе?)). They were going to the Cyprus, while our aim(goal) was Egypt, the Sakhara, the river Nile, and the Pyramids. When we were passing Instanbul, the city was illuminated, the Moon was hardly seen. In the Turkish Republic people (had) elected the president. The ship passed by a cliff with a lighthouse and went carefully across(?) the Dardanells.

Если артикли будет проверять та же учительница, которая этот текст составляла, то вряд ли мы угадаем ход ее мысли. В общем, сочувствую.
