Знатоки английского, нужна ваша помощь

В одной песни поется "with you and I defying gravity"-говорят, это неправильная конструкция, а правильно было бы сказать так "with you and me defying gravity" или так "It's you and I defying gravity".Помогите понять, в чем же ошибка?

"with you and I defying gravity" однозначно неправильно. Субъектный (именительный) падеж с предлогами не сочетается. "With I" - не есть гуд инглиш. НО в речи (особенно малообразованной) встречается довольно таки часто, из-за плохо усвоенного правила "It's I" против "It's me".

Академические грамматики говорят, что нужно "It's I", а в современном живом языке это звучит коряво. Абсолютное большинство (по крайней мере в Штатах) говорят "It's me". НО остатки школьных правил в голове сидят, поэтому, стараясь говорить правильно, взрослые лепят это "I" куда надо и куда не надо. Вот и выходит "with you and I".

Короче,
— "with you and I defying gravity" - ВООБЩЕ неправильно, но в разговоре встречается...
— "It's you and I defying gravity" - по правилам 100% правильно, но для многих "звучит" хуже, чем с "me".

Although that doesn't fit the internal rhyme of I with (de)fy(ing gravity), another construction such as "It's you and I defying gravity" would work just as well and be grammatically correct."

Что за песня? Английская — одно, неанглийская — другое.

Второе: без среды неясно. Можно понять так: «She goes with you, and I defying gravity hope for the best».

Ну а если это то, что ты, видимо, думаешь, то лучше, конечно, «with you and me», но возможны приколы, игра слов, имитация ошибки, цитата и вообще всё, что угодно.
