The book «Across England to Scotland» is very interesting for me.

I will talk about three chapters of this book. It "The Shakespeare Country", "The Chalk Country" and "Home, sweet home". I discovered something new in each chapter from this book. For example, in the Chapter about Shakespeare, I learned of Stretford, the city where Shakespeare was born. Now, there are around souvenirs and postcards are sold with portraits of Shakespeare, everything to attract tourists. Although earlier Stratford was a quet and calm area of England, now it is a very noisy place. Also I learned a lot about the family Shakespeare and his work. This chapter is my favorite, because I like art and Shakespeare is the greatest figure in the literature.

In Chapter "The Chalk Country" I learned that Canterbury stands on the road of invaders. The Romans went that way and centuries after came the Danes who were followed by the Normans, Canterbury saw them all. It is very interesting chapter.

From "Home. Sweet Home" I learned about the media of Great Britain, know more about English traditions and hobbies. I understand that the most important thing for English people is their home. The British say "East or West - home is best". The British love their country and honor the tradition.

I liked this book, it is very informative and fascinating. Also I really liked that the whole book is written in a dialogue form of the people who are travelling around England.

Заранее спасибо!
Нет. Ошибок много, достаточно хотя бы неправильного написания слова "Stratford". It was Stratford-on-Avon, baby...
