почему в сша популярно выражение - girl next door(соседка) ?

Ну, я как гражданин Америки и России одновременно подумал над этим по совету номера 1.

Когда говорят "girl next door" имеют ввиду "девушку живующую рядом" - обычную и близкую, но олновременно далекую, недоступную
