Моя бабушка выросла в деревне. В их деревне школы не было, но была в соседней. Так как её никто не мог подвезти до школы, ей приходилось идти туда пешком. Поэтому ей было нужно вставать очень рано, чтобы добраться до школы. Здание было небольшим-всего несколько классов. В ней работали всего четыре учителя и занимались около 50 детей. Кабинеты были маленькими. Преподавались только самые основные предметы-русский язык, литература, математика, история и биология. В школе не была введена строгая школьная форма, но белая блузка или рубашка были обязательными. В школе была столовая и дети после уроков могли спокойно пообедать. Помимо уроков были внеклассные занятия. Многих девочек учили шить и вязать, а мальчиковвырезать фигурки из дерева.

My grandma has grown up in a village. There was no school, but the neighbouring villiage had one. She had to get there by feet, cause' there wasn't anyone who can pick her up right to the school. That's why she had to get up early to get to school on time. The building wasn't really big, - there were several rooms at all. The only four teachers had been working there and something about 50 students had been studying. Classrooms were small. The only basic classes were studied: Russian, Literature, Maths, History and Biology. There wasn't any decrees about the uniform, but the white blouse or shirt were required. There also were the dining room, so children could take a lunch. Except from basic classes, there were secondary classes, where girls have been taught to sew and knit, and boys have studied to carve the wood figures out.

She had to get up early to get to school on time. School building was small and had just several rooms. Four teachers taught 50 schoolchildren. The rooms were small. Children learned only basic subjects such as Russian, literature, mathematics, history and biology. There was no strcit rules about uniform but all the children had to wear white blouses or shirts. There was a canteen where all the children had their meals after the classes. Besides classes there were also out-of-school activities. Many girls were taught sewing and knitting and boys were taught carving figurines from wood.
