1. If Amelia Earhart had not been daring she woudn't have attempted to fly round the world. 
2. If anything strange hadn't happened, the plane would have reached the island. 
3. If the boys had realised Maribel was a girl, they wouldn't have called her 'Mario'. 
4. If Maribel hadn't been a brilliant footballer at the age of 20, she would not have played for Mexico.
